Broghan Blackshaw

Broghan Blackshaw is a sound designer and composer for video games and within the music industry with more than a decade of experience crafting bespoke sounds and music for a variety of different projects - from music for bands, to documentaries, to game soundtracks and sound design. Her specialties include writing lyrics and melodies for vocalists, and composing and arranging a large variety of genres of music. She is also an accomplished musician with a postgraduate degree in music performance from Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music. 

Broghan has had the pleasure of working on a large volume of music projects over the years, particularly in the video games industry where she is best known for her work as a composer of game theme tunes - particularly on the Into the Dead series. Recently, Broghan has worked alongside Ron Gilbert from Terrible Toybox to create the soundtrack for his latest game “Death by Scrolling”, and has also been working alongside the Playside Studios team on the “Dumb Ways to Die” franchise as a contractor.
