Our Origin Story

Burn My Records is a music label and production house that has come about as a result of over a decade of frustration with the modern music industry and the lack of transparency that we have experienced around how to market, release and distribute music as an independent band. We got sick of creating great music, and then just putting it out into the void where nobody was hearing it. Does this feel familiar to you as an artist? You’re not alone out there.

 

There is a deep oversaturation of independent artists on streaming platforms today - making it harder than ever for fans to find your music and for you to be heard. However, over the years we have done a lot of research into ways that artists can market and release their music - and we want to pass this knowledge on to the community through working with artists and community education initiatives.
