Lazy Suzan is a five piece nu-emo alt rock band quickly becoming an underground staple in Pōneke with their signature mix of scream-along anthems and chaotic, theatrical live show energy. Fusing all the elements of high energy 90s and 00s emo, pop punk, nu-metal and alt rock into their own genre-bending blend of catchy original tunes, straight up throw downs and a growing cult following, they're one of Aotearoa's most exciting emerging live acts.

Having only formed in 2025 Lazy Suzan has released to the stage a series of chaotic originals that are yet to be recorded digitally. Despite this, Lazy Suzan prides themselves on being a "live first" performance, promoting fans to attend live shows and support local venues, highlighting themselves as a "theatrical experience that could never be recreated digitally".

In 2026 LSZ is focussing on harnessing larger festival stages and recording their originals for release at a later date.
