Rosina June is a Wellington-based belly dancer, performer, and choreographer with 18 years of experience in the art form. She began her belly dance journey in 2008, performing extensively in Wellington’s Turkish and Middle Eastern restaurants, where she developed a strong foundation in improvisation, musicality, and audience connection.

Since 2011, Rosina has trained and performed internationally, appearing in festivals, performance projects, and showcases across Australia and the United States. In 2025 she was one of two New Zealand dancers selected to perform in a large-scale performance project in Brisbane with acclaimed choreographer Olga Meos.

Alongside her solo dance work, Rosina performs with Burn My Shadow, an electronic rock project based in Wellington. She is also the Creative Director of Burn My Records, where she oversees creative direction and contributes to the development of cross-disciplinary performance and music projects. Rosina draws on a broader professional dance career spanning more than 25 years and has recently started teaching Belly Dance classes in Tawa, Wellington.
